Beverly Joann James

Beverly Joann James, age 72, of Imperial, MO, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at the St. Lukes Des Peres Hospital. She was born November 22, 1950 in Wardell, MO, the daughter of Leslie Burchard and Stella (Crutchfield) Burchard.

  Beverly was married to Frank James December 28, 1968 at the Kime Baptist Church and was a long time resident of Imperial. She was a homemaker and of the General Baptist faith.

  She is preceded in death by her mother, Stella Burchard, 2 daughters, Shannon Estep and Courtney McDaniels, 1 brother, Lonnie Burchard and 1 sister, Vicky Burchard.

  Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Frank James, of the home, her daughter, Lori Michelle James, of Imperial, her father, Leslie Burchard, of Greenville, 4 brothers, Larry Burchard, of Greenville, David Burchard, of Greenville, Junior Burchard, of Greenville, Doug Burchard, of Roscoe, IL and 1 sister, Donna Haynes, of Greenville.

  Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

  Funeral services were held on Friday, January 13, 2023 at the Kime General Baptist Church with Pastor Kenny Burchard and Rev. Glenn Crutchfield officiating. Special recorded songs were played for the service and Larry Burchard, Junior Burchard, Doug Burchard, David Burchard, Randy Burchard and Shawn Haynes served as Pall Bearers. Interment was in the Kime Church Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Chapel.
