Elaine Pierson

Elaine Pierson, age 60, of Annapolis, passed away Tuesday, January 10th at the Ironton Medical Center in Pilot Knob. She was born February 27, 1962 in Ironton, MO, the daughter of Alvin Pierson and Letha Nadine Santhuff.
Elaine was a lifelong resident of Iron county and was a 1981 graduate of South Iron High School. She had worked at Brown Shoe Co., cooked at several area restaurants, and was a care giver for her mother in her final years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Spike and Nadine Pierson and 2 sisters, Sandra Kay Sullivan and Treva Pierson.
Survivors include 2 brothers, Leon Setzer and his wife Linda, of Maryland Heights, MO, Eric Pierson and his wife Lori, of Annapolis, 2 sisters, Karen Brawley, of Annapolis and Lela Vonnie Pierson, of Annapolis.
Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at the Morrison Funeral Chapel in Piedmont with Rev. Pete Ruble officiating. Special recorded songs were played for the service and Chris Heath, Brad Sullivan, Scott Setzer, Jim Hutchison and Greg Twidwell served as Pall Bearers. Interment was in the Mann Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Chapel.
