Sherry Lynn Smith

Sherry Lynn Smith, age 65 of Poplar Bluff, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. She was born April 15, 1957 at St. Louis, the daughter of William Murdock and Norma (Ward) Murdock.
A long time resident of Poplar Bluff, she was a member of the Highland Drive Church of Christ and had worked for Walmart. She was married to Jackie Smith and he passed away October 23, 2017.
She is also preceded in death by her parents, William and Norma Murdock.
Survivors include her son, William “Billy” Smith, of Poplar Bluff, MO, her brother, Alan Murdock, of Silva, MO, her aunt, Jean Crismon, of Silva, MO, and many other family and friends. Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the Morrison Funeral Chapel in Piedmont with Bro. Dale Swain officiating. Highland Drive Church of Christ Choir sang special songs and interment was in the Forest Chapel Cemetery under  the direction of Morrison Funeral Chapel.
