Nancy Lee Johnson

Nancy Lee Johnson, daughter of the late Ralph Graves and Edna (Garner) Graves, was born in Farmington, Missouri, on February 21, 1934. She departed this life at her residence in Ellington, Missouri, on January 7, 2023, at the age of 88.

On May 2, 1954, in Farmington, Missouri, Nancy was united in marriage to Ray Johnson and to this loving union four children were born. Ray preceded her in death on May 22, 2009. Nancy attended the United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and sang in the choir. She was the Owner and President of Ray Johnson Inc. in Centerville, Missouri. She was a member of the Reynolds County Women’s Republican Committee, Reynolds County Red Cross, University of Missouri Extension Council, Ellington Chamber of Commerce, Reynolds County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Reynolds County Workshop board member, Senior Citizens Housing board member, leader of Girl Scout’s, and volunteer at the Reynolds County Museum. Nancy enjoyed bird watching, gardening, collecting antiques, going to auctions and yard sales.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, Ed, George and Bob Graves, and one sister, Barb Hutson.

Nancy is survived by one son, Mike Johnson and wife Susie of Centerville, Missouri, three daughters, Deb Rayfield and husband Bill of Ellington, Missouri, Cathy Hill and husband Don of Highlands, Texas, and Andie Johnson and husband Kenny Pratt of Centerville, Missouri, 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and one on the way.

There will be a Graveside Service held on Sunday, February 19, 2023, 2PM, at Polk Memorial Cemetery
