Judy Rose Groff, age 77, passed away Friday, February 3, 2023 at the Gasconade Manor in Owensville, MO. She was born January 21, 1946 in St. Louis, Mo, the daughter of Willard Rose and Juanita (White) Rose.
Judy was a retired factory worker for Johnson Controls and had received her medical assistant certification from Metro Business College in Jefferson City. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church in Linn, MO.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Willard and Juanita Rose.
Survivors include her son, Andrew Groff and his wife Kelly, of Linn, MO, her sister, Frieda Williamson, of Greenville, five grandchildren, Bryan Baker, James Groff, Jacob Groff, Zachariah Groff and Elizabeth Groff.
Also surviving are six great grandchildren, Robin, Hiram, Cooper, Vivian, Liam and Sophie, her cousin that was like a sister, Nita Holt, her best friend Nancy Ashby, and many other family and friends.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at the Morrison Funeral Chapel in Greenville with Rev. Cathy Hinklin officiating. Special recorded songs were played for the service and Nita Holt and Frieda Williamson gave tributes to Judy. Andy Groff, Jacob Groff, Zach Groff, Bryan Baker, Lance Peterson and Greg Twidwell served as Pall Bearers. Interment was in the New Prospect Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Chapel.
