Chester Bradley
Chester Bradley of Ironton, Missouri passed away March 4, 2023 at his home at the age of 90 years. He was born September 28, 1932 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of the late Chester and Zalma Bradley.
On April 26, 1958 he was united in marriage to Mary Frances Nichols who preceded him in death on September 22, 2004. They were the parents of five children: Roberta Courtway, Sherry Goodman, Mike Lubbers, Diane Bradley and Laura Bradley all of Ironton, Missouri. In addition to his children, Chester is survived by his brother, Robert Bradley of French Village, Missouri, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In addition to his parents, Chester was preceded in death by two sisters; Betty and Mary Bradley, and two brothers; Frances and Jerry Bradley, and two sons-in-law; David Courtway and Richard Goodman.
Chester was a life time member of the Arcadia Valley Elks Lodge #2330 where he was very active for many years. He served in many offices at the Elks over the years. He was a charter member of the Arcadia Valley Eagles. He was also very involved in the Lake Killarney Association. Chester was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved 4 wheelers, bowling and playing horse shoes.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from Bryson Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Jones officiating. Visitation was on Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with an Elks service at 6:00 p.m. Graveside services were held on Friday, March 10, 2023 at Arcadia Valley Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bob Webb officiating.
