Virgil “Bud” Goodman Jr.

Virgil “Bud” Goodman, Jr., age 92, formerly of Greenville, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023 at the DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton, MO. He was born December 26, 1930 in Old Greenville, the son of Virgil Goodman, Sr. and Edna (Burch) Goodman.
Bud was a skilled mechanic and artist and had taught at the Bailey Technical School in St. Louis. He was a long time member of the Greenville Baptist Church. He was married to Barbara Mouser April 24, 1992 and had lived in Florissant for many years.
Preceding him in death are his parents and two sisters, Alma and Dorma.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Barbara Goodman, of Florissant, one daughter, Judy Howard, of Greenville, his step son, Charles “Chuck” David and his wife Kristi, of St. Louis and his step grandson, Brayden David, of St. Louis.
Also surviving are many other family and friends.
Memorial services were held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at the Morrison Funeral Chapel in Greenville with Bro. Derek Gray officiating. Helen Gray provided special music and friends and family gave tributes to Bud. Interment of the cremains was in the Greenville Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Chapel.
