Wilma June Bartch
Wilma June Bartch, age 88, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023 at her home near Piedmont. She was born August 18, 1934 near Piedmont, the daughter of Emmitt Franklin Faulkner and June Aileen (Turnbough) Faulkner.
June was married to Irvin Bartch October 7, 1950 in Piggott, AR and was a life long resident of this area. She worked for the International Hat Factory, Brown Shoe, Town and Country Market and worked the farm with her husband Irvin. She was a long time member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church and was the Youth Teacher for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Emmitt and June Faulkner, her husband Irvin Bartch, her daughter, Trellis Bartch, 2 sons in law, Tex Barnes and Don Charlton, and 2 sisters, Glenda Sue Smith and Mary Lou Fuwell.
Survivors include 3 children, Earlene Barnes, of Piedmont, Cindy Charlton, of Piedmont and J.R. Bartch, of Piedmont.
Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, Wendy (Larry) Morris, Alicia (Ryan) Davis, Jamon Barnes, Brian (Kim) Barnes, Amanda Bartch, Justin Bartch, Brandon (Michelle) Kyle, Devin (Amanda) Kyle, Chelsea (Jon) Montgomery; 21 Great Grandchildren, Logan (Amanda) Morris, Lexi (Everett) Carter, Jazlyn (Cole) Barnes, Jadon (Kylee) Barnes, Serena Davis, Camden Davis,Jack (Gelly) Puisis, Andrea (Caddie) Barnes, Blake Barnes, Gracie Bartch, Savanah Bartch, Audrey Whitworth, Olivia Whitworth, Daisy Whitworth, Malachi Whitworth, Natalie Hinkle, Jana Kyle, Martin Kyle, Alyvia Sullivan, Mikey Kyle and Millie Kyle; 3 Great-Great Grandchildren, Jase Carter, Jaxon Puisis and Jameson Puisis; along with many other family and friends.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at the Morrison Funeral Chapel in Piedmont with Rev. Kevin Kinnard officiating. Jeff Radford gave the Eulogy and special recorded songs were played for the service. Brandon Kyle, Devin Kyle, Mike Kyle, Martin Kyle, Larry Morris, Everett Carter, John Montgomery, Logan Morris and Jadon Barnes served as Pallbearers. Jase Carter, Camden Davis and Justin Bartch were Honorary Pall Bearers. Interment was in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Chapel.
