Kenneth Jerome Garcia, age 61 of Hiram, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born February 18, 1962 in St. Louis, MO, the son of Charles Garcia and Kathy (Callaway) Garcia. Kenny was married to Linda Sue Cook September 28, 1996 at Hiram. A long time resident of Hiram, he worked as a Logger.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Charles and Kathy Garcia.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Garcia, of the home, 4 children, Jacob Garcia and his wife Tina, of Wappapello, Lyndsay Tumbus and her husband Brian, of Greenville, Sherry Rogers and her husband Jerry, of Greenville, Chris Cook, of Hiram; 3 brothers, John Garcia, of Pacific, MO, Tony Garcia, of St. Louis and Jimmy Garcia, of New Jersey.
In addition, he is survived by 8 grandchildren, Dalton, Mia, Lane, Kyson, Brian, Bobby, Heidi and Hailey, a great grandchild on the way, Ryder, and many other family and friends.
Funeral services were held on Monday, September 18 2023 at the Morrison Funeral Chapel in Greenville with Rev. Richard Baker officiating. Sherry Rogers and Jacob Garcia gave tributes to their dad and special recorded songs were played for the service. Jacob Garcia, Derek Moss, Danny Davis, Brian Cook, Gerald Cook and Bobby Cook served as Pall Bearers. Dalton Hancock, Kyson Garcia and Lane Hamman were Honorary Pall Bearers. Interment was in the Cowan Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Chapel.
