Andrea Nicole (Highley) Brewer was born on April 16, 1987, to Byron Highley and Tracy (Williams) Highley in Rolla, Missouri. Andrea and her daughter Hiley entered into eternal rest on March 22, 2024.
Andrea was a 2005 graduate of Bunker High School. On June 20, 2006, in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Andrea was united in marriage to Richard “Richie” Brewer and to this loving union two children were born, Hunter and Hiley. Andrea earned her bachelor’s degree in social sciences with a concentration in education. Andrea was a Registered Yoga Instructor and Accredited Health and Life Coach. As a small business owner of The Clubhouse Community Wellness Center, Andrea made a huge impact empowering others within the community. Her Clubhouse was innovative for the surrounding area. She was able to provide yoga classes for all ages, a local event center for parties and gatherings, a place for other entrepreneurs to offer services, and barista services for Lotus tea drinks. One of her most popular classes was paddlefit yoga at the lake.
Andrea was a fierce, free spirit. She was extremely passionate in all of her endeavors. She saw the world differently and her focus became sharing her perspective. When she wasn’t at The Clubhouse, you could find Andrea exploring nature. She and Richie enjoyed Jeep riding, boat riding on the Current River, and spending time at the farm. She found peace hanging out with the chickens, cows, dogs, and donkeys. She was known to climb whatever tree or bluff that was nearby and would often strike a yoga pose. She often made Richie pull over so she could climb or just to enjoy the view. She had an adventurous, fearless personality that she didn’t hold back.
Andrea was proudest of her family. She and Richie were able to enjoy many family vacations, trips to Current River, and Whippet sporting events. She was proud of Hunter and Hiley’s academic and athletic accomplishments. Andrea was always humbled when people spoke to her of Hunter and Hiley’s character. They were her proudest accomplishment. Andrea was best known as “Auntie A” to her nieces and nephew. She genuinely enjoyed playing with them and being the “cool” aunt.
Andrea is survived by her parents, Byron and Tracy Highley of Marshfield; her loving husband of 17 years, Richie Brewer of Ellington; son, Hunter Brewer of Ellington; father and mother-in-law, Todd and Lisa Brewer of Ellington; grandparents, Fern Highley of Bunker, Robert and Roberta Copeland of Ellington, and Jim and Sandy Brewer of Ironton; sister, Erica (Chad) Buehler of Strafford; brother, Ethen (Emily) Highley of Strafford; brothers-in-law Derek (Ashlin) Brewer of Eminence and Cameron (Savannah) Brewer of Ellington; nieces, Adalynn and Alyssa Buehler, Cora Highley, Griffin and Gracen Brewer; and nephew, Justice Buehler.
Andrea was preceded in death by her grandpa, Angus Jr. Highley.
Andrea will be missed by a host of friends, family, and yogis. She will always be Richie’s “sweet thang.”
