Huff Commits to Play College Basketball

Sawyer Huff, Senior at South Iron High School in Annapolis, Missouri, signed a “National Letter of Intent” to play basketball at Missouri Baptist University located in Creve Coeur. Huff was a four-year starter for the Panthers and racked up numerous honors. The 6’2” guard received the following basketball honors: 3-time Black River League (BRL) All-Conference team member, 1-time BRL Player of the Year, 3-time All-District team member, 2-time KTJJ Dream team member, 2-time All-State team member, 1-time MBCA District Player of the Year, and 1-time BIG3 Athletics Player of the Year. Huff was a member of four teams that won the Arcadia Valley Thanksgiving Tournament, one team that was the Park Hills Central Christmas Tournament champion. While in high school, his team was a four-time Black River League Conference and BRL Tournament champions. They also won the district tournament four times. He was a member of two Class 1 state champion teams. He is pictured above with Missouri Baptist’s coach and his mother.
